When toxic people realize they can no longer control you they try to control how others see you. They lie about you, try to set you up, paint you into a color you are not. The misinformation is hurting and
unfair, but true preachers of the gospel know that persecutions are expected and they press on. The Apostle Paul wrote, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution (2 Tim. 3:12). Jesus said,
“Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man” Luke 6:22 | NIV
