Grace Greater Than Our Sin

Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,
John 1:17 → For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Grace the exceeds our sin and our guilt.
Romans 5:15 → But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

Yonder on Calvary’s mount outpoured,
Ephesians 1:7 → In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.

There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt.
Revelation 7:14 → And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Grace, grace, God’s grace,
Acts 20:24 → But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Grace that will pardon and cleanse within;
Romans 3:24 → Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Grace, grace, God’s grace,
1 Corinthians 15:10 → But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Grace that is greater than all our sin.
Romans 5:20 → Moreover, the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.

In Christ, Steve Preston
